How to Manage Amazon AI Recommended Listing Updates
Amazon’s AI is coming for your listings.
If you don’t respond with feedback then Amazon states that changes will be pushed through.
Not all accounts have received the blue update box under recommendations on the Home Page of Seller Central, but it looks something like this:

You can also find the suggestions by following this link: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/selectiongaps/review-listing-updates
⚠️ Just because it’s not on the dashboard doesn’t mean there are no suggestions. You’ll want to go directly to the URL when flipping through accounts.
What are Amazon AI listing updates?
Most of Amazon’s AI-recommended updates are for attribute changes. And most of the recommendations are good (we share an example further down about tea variety.) When run on large catalogs, these suggestions offer a much easier way to audit products that have been entered incorrectly at scale.
Watch out for Amazon AI title changes
The updates to look out for are the product title recommended title. It appears that Amazon’s main focus here is on their recent (January 2025) update to the policy on product title requirements. The new policy states that words cannot appear more than twice (not including prepositions, articles and conjunctions).
This results in Amazon removing a bunch of words and rearranging things in the title. Sadly, a lot of the titles then lose context and completely change the title’s meaning. All the more reason to log in and check up on these changes!

Let’s look at how to manage these suggestions.
How to manage Amazon’s AI-recommended listing updates and suggestions
Step 1. Follow the listing updates link or click on the “Review changes” button in the listing updates recommendation box from Seller Central Home.
Step 2. Download the Excel file with the proposed changes. You’ll also notice there’s a “Feedback due date”.

Step 3. Open the Excel file to review the updates (Amazon includes instructions on the first tab). Check out the “Data to Review” tab. You’ll see your ASINs with the AI-recommended listing updates.
In the example below, the suggestion was to change the current value tea variety value from the current “black” value to “green”.

Step 4. Choose from one of the 3 options:
- Agree – In our example, the suggestion made sense (Go, Amazon!), so we agreed. Nothing else was necessary here.
- Disagree
- Product is not part of our catalog
If you disagree with the suggestions, select Disagree and enter the reason and additional details if necessary.

Step 5. Save the changes in the Excel file and re-upload by selecting the arrow icon under “Upload feedback”.

Step 6. That’s it! You can check back on the status which will probably finish reviewing in the next 24 hours.

They seem to be coming out with new updates each day on different ASINs though so keep checking back each day.
